On Thursday, November 19th, keynote speakers, Sen. Mark Warner and Rep. Peter Roskam, spoke at a Capitol Hill symposium focused on the trends and public policy ramifications of the new, emerging workforce driving the sharing economy. Hosted by the Kogod Tax Policy Center at American University, and sponsored by the Intuit Tax and Financial Center, the symposium also featured two panel discussions with experts in tax compliance and small business policy.
